We arrived to bell boys taking our luggage to our room, which was beautifully located near the front of the hotel. The room itself was fantastic, large and exceptionally clean, which is very important to us. The bedding and towels were spotless and changed everyday. We felt very safe and secure with the large security door and had a phone in our room to call reception if needed. We called to get a shuttle to the restaurant and beach which were a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond and were very friendly, all smiles and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome. The balcony overlooked one of the swimming pools but was also surrounded by beautiful trees so we felt we had a lot of privacy. We couldn't see the people from the balconies either side of us as the walls prevent them / us from feeling too close. We liked this. This hotel has a tropical feel to it and yet is very modern with everything working like clockwork. We organised a day trip, through the hotel, to see elephants, waterfalls, the Tsunami museum and turtle sanctuary, plus a river raft excursion. It was superb and we loved it. The hotel is beachfront. The sand on the beach is pure silk, white, soft and clean. The sea was warm and the sunbeds were perfect to relax on, this was the most relaxing part of our Thailand trip and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It was the best of our entire trip. The breakfast was good although no decaff coffee which I did miss. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent, a good mixture of Thai and western cuisine which is freshly prepared on site. We also visited the three beach restaurants a short walk along the beach which were also very good. The night fire show spectacle was amazing! I cannot praise the staff enough, they do everything to make your stay wonderful.

Amazing ambience, birds tweeting since early morning, tons of well-maintained greenery, beautiful canal going through the middle of the hotel. I never felt like the hotel was full of people because of how well designed it is. Even the private pools were not really visible from other guests perspective. Really stunning! Breakfast was varied and tasty, every single day. Food in general was exceptionally tasty. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They managed to accommodate us, make us feel welcome and help us out with every single problem we had. Beach was beautiful and the massage at the beach (although not officially part of the hotel) is highly recommended. Rooms are big and have high ceilings, are really nice to be in. WiFi worked really well all around hotel (maybe just didn't reach the beach... But is that a bad thing? ;) )

The rooms are spacious and immaculate - super comfy beds, great shower and the balcony is a lovely place to read and relax. It’s also extremely quiet at night, and I had the best sleep here! We didn’t dine at the main restaurant Patio, but we ate at Green Mango and their food was great - a very extensive menu with lots of western and Thai choices. The pool areas are beautiful, although everyone seems to want to be round the main pool (even those who have paid for pool access rooms) so it can be a little crowded and the battle for sunbeds is annoying.

The room was well maintained and the housekeeping kept it super clean. The breakfast was very good and had lots of choices. Also the beach and the ocean is just wonderful if you like the swimming or walking at the beach.

During our days it was storm and we could not swim. Hotel personnel is super helpful and nice. Breakfast was great with large variety of food.
